Hi, I'm Rachel — and I genuinely love a good spreadsheet.
I know that's not something most people say out loud, but after 14 years working in accounting across corporate and non-profit organizations, I've seen firsthand what a difference clean, accurate books make for a business — and what happens when they're ignored. I started King Ledger Co. because I wanted to bring that same level of financial clarity to small business owners — without the big-firm price tag or the impersonal experience that usually comes with it. My background spans both sides of the ledger. I've worked in corporate accounting environments where precision and process are everything, and in non-profit settings where every dollar has to be tracked, justified, and reported on with care. That range of experience means I'm comfortable with complexity — and I know how to communicate financial information in a way that's actually useful to a business owner, not just an accountant. When I'm not in the books, I enjoy spending time with family, exercising, reading, and drinking lots and lots of coffee. I host Mama's Tired, a podcast about simple, sustainable systems and routines for moms. It turns out the same principles that make a household run smoothly — clear systems, consistent habits, no unnecessary complexity — apply just as well to your business finances. I bring that same approach to every client I work with. You deserve books you can trust, a bookkeeper you can reach, and financial clarity that actually helps you make decisions. That's what I'm here to provide.
